The Masuda Method is another effective strategy for obtaining shiny Pokémon through breeding. Here's how to do it:

  1. Obtain a foreign Pokémon. This means acquiring a Pokémon that comes from a game cartridge in a different language than your own.
  2. Capture or trade for a Pokémon of your desired species that you want as a shiny.
  3. Leave both Pokémon at the Pokémon Day Care to breed.
  4. The chances of hatching a shiny Pokémon will be significantly higher when breeding two Pokémon from different language games.

3. SOS Chaining

The SOS Chaining method allows trainers to increase their chances of encountering shiny Pokémon during battle. Follow these steps:

  1. Find a species of Pokémon that can call for help.
  2. Go to an area where the desired Pokémon spawns.
  3. Begin battling the Pokémon until it calls an ally.
  4. Knock out the ally Pokémon but not the original Pokémon.
