Step 1: Crafting a Loom

The first step is to craft a loom. To do this, you need the following ingredients:

  • 2 Wooden Planks
  • 2 String

Arrange these ingredients in the crafting table as shown below:

Once you have successfully crafted a loom, add it to your inventory.

Step 2: Placing the Loom

Inside the loom interface, you will find several options:

  • Slot 1: Banner Pattern - Insert the banner pattern or a banner with an existing pattern here.
  • Slot 2: Dye - Insert the dye color you want the pattern to have.
  • Slot 3: Banner - Place an undecorated banner to add the pattern and color.
  • Output Slot: Final Result - Once you have selected the pattern and color, the resulting banner will appear here.

Step 4: Creating Customized Banners

To create a customized banner, follow these steps:

  1. Select the banner pattern you want to use. You can find various patterns in chests in villages or by trading with villagers.
  2. Place the banner pattern in Slot 1.
  3. Select the dye color you want to apply to the pattern. You can obtain dyes from a variety of sources, including flowers, plants, and other materials.
  4. Place the dye in Slot 2.
  5. Insert an undecorated banner in Slot 3.
  6. Once all the required slots are filled, the resulting banner will appear in the output slot.
  7. Click on the resulting banner to add it to your inventory.
