If you're an avid player of Minecraft and want to take your gaming experience to the next level, then Tinkers Construct is a mod you won't want to miss. This mod introduces a whole new way to create tools and weapons, one of its key features being the smeltery. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps of creating your very own smeltery in Minecraft Tinkers Construct!
What is a Smeltery?
A smeltery is a multi-block structure used in Tinkers Construct to smelt ores and create alloys. It allows you to melt metals and pour them into molds to create various tools, weapons, and other items. The smeltery is an essential component for any Minecraft player looking to progress through the Tinkers Construct mod.
To build a smeltery, you will need the following materials:
- 27 Seared Bricks
- 1 Smeltery Controller
- 1 Seared Tank
- 1 Seared Faucet
- 1 Casting Table
- 1 Casting Basin
- 1 Seared Drain
Step 1: Crafting the Smeltery Controller
Begin by crafting the Smeltery Controller using 9 Seared Bricks. Place the bricks in a 3x3 crafting grid, leaving the center slot empty. This will create the Smeltery Controller.
Step 2: Building the Structure
Now that you have the Smeltery Controller, you can start building the smeltery structure. First, choose a suitable location and dig a hole that is at least 3 blocks wide, 3 blocks long, and 4 blocks deep.
Next, place the Smeltery Controller in the center of the hole. Surround it with Seared Bricks to create a 3x3 square around the controller.
Now, build walls for the smeltery by extending the sides of the square upward with additional Seared Bricks. Make sure the walls are at least 4 blocks high.
Finally, complete the walls by adding another layer of Seared Bricks around the top of the structure.
Step 3: Adding the Components
Now that the structure is complete, it's time to add the remaining components of the smeltery. Place the Seared Tank adjacent to any side of the Smeltery Controller. This tank will store the molten metals used in the smeltery ...
