Can the CADA help me determine the value of my artwork?
The CADA office does not review artists' work nor provide any evaluation services.
Please search our website links for Art Specialties list
or Artists Represented to find an appropriate CADA gallery for your questions.

How can I sell artwork I own?
For advice, consider returning to the gallery where the work was purchased, or to a gallery that
represents the artist's work or work from the same genre. Auction houses can be helpful in facilitating
a sale on your behalf, and there are online sales resources available. For a list of Chicago Auction Houses
and their contact information, consult the Art Services section of chicagogallerynews.com.

How can I find a gallery to represent me and my work?
First research galleries to determine an aesthetic match and appropriateness of the gallery to your work.
Contact those galleries by phone or email to determine their individual preferred method of reviewing work.

How can I find employment in an art gallery?
Each gallery does its own staffing. You are welcome to contact a gallery for which you have a special
interest in or send your resume to the CADA. If we know of any positions open, we will pass along the
information. Above all, before contacting a gallery, familiarize yourself with the kind of artwork and
artists they represent to determine if your experience and interests are a good match with the gallery.
